The technical training specialist’s primary focus is to design and deliver innovative training solutions through a variety of mediums to engage our teams and support our global collaboration strategy.

The initial focus of this role will be to deliver training across business units and regions within the Calligo Organisation on core Microsoft products: Office 365, Teams, Planner and Project Online.

The post holder will be required to travel regularly to deliver training across each location where classroom training is the most appropriate delivery method.

Key Duties

  • Scope, design and deliver learning interventions to support the global collaboration strategy
  • Use innovative methods to facilitate the effective adoption of new technologies by our staff
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training delivered, updating courseware based on feedback
  • Assess the advantages and disadvantages of different delivery methods, selecting the most impactful and cost-effective solution
  • Work with internal stakeholders to create courses and courseware for internal bespoke business applications.
  • Consider both formal and informal learning opportunities to support learning in the workplace
  • Support the Global Talent Manager with annual training needs analysis
  • Maintain an up-to-date skills base through personal development and accreditation activities
  • Complete professional certifications as appropriate


Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years technical or product training experience preferably within a technology environment
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft collaboration suite Office 365 to advance level. Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Planner and Project On-Line would be an advantage
  • Facilitation skills across a mix of mediums to manage and optimise a learning event
  • TAP or CIPD accreditation preferable
  • Baseline knowledge of cloud and virtualisation technologies
  • Awareness of fundamentals of training & learning needs analysis
  • Experience of blended and digital content creation (videos, mobile learning)



  • Proven ability to design content and courseware from scoping to delivery to a high standard
  • Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong facilitation skills (face to face and virtual)
  • Highly self-motivated, organised and disciplined.
