Working within the Project Management Office (PMO), this role will work closely with technologists to coordinate and complete projects that will be mainly of a Information Technology (IT) nature, therefore the ability to communicate effectively and to understand the interdependencies of multiple workstreams is crucial.

Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.

Reporting in to the Director of the PMO the successful applicate will be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the business and also with clients.

Key Duties:

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation in adherence with establish ISO procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong presentation skills with proven ability to speak comfortably in front of groups and to executive audiences, to effectively articulate solutions and appropriately positioning value propositions.
  • Ability to thoroughly understand related industry technology, articulate that knowledge and formulate effective solutions with attention to profitability.
  • Seasoned in identifying new sales opportunities, preparing prospect presentations and solutions development.

Competencies:

• Proven working experience in project management
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project Online an advantage
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
