Your Responsibilities

The Inside Sales Executive will be responsible for developing new business through inbound leads generated by marketing activities, and contacting targeted lists of potential prospects predominantly within the UK & Channel Islands. Where required, the BDR will also be expected to follow up inbound leads in other countries (Excluding Canada & USA).

  • 70-100 calls per day (cold/warm call prospective clients to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities)
  • 50-60 conversations with business decision makers per week
  • Schedule 3-7 appointments per week for the team and Directors
  • Attend weekly sales meetings
  • Effectively use company marketing initiatives to successfully engage new prospects
  • Maintain a timely and accurate database of client data in the company CRM
  • Develop and maintain an accurate and current pipeline and forecast
  • Take ownership and responsibility for achieving specific sales targets
  • Attend training and complete courses and or certifications for supporting vendors as required

 

Your Profile

  • Proven work experience within Business Development, Sales, or similar role
  • 3 years + Sales experience sourcing, developing and converting new business prospects
  • Experience from dealing with large companies or organisations, communicating and closing deals with department heads, managers or executives.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Confidence dealing with people on the phone and face to face.
  • Good telephone manner and highly self-motivated
  • Ability to build relations, demonstrate products and manage pipeline of sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Business to Business Inside Sales or Telemarketing experience
  • Basic knowledge of Technology
