Chief Delivery Officer

The Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) is responsible for ensuring effective delivery of the technical and managed service operations across the global business to deliver an efficient and client-centric service to all Calligo customers.

The CDO provides leadership to create an environment of continuous improvement to meet industry standards, ISO & internal policies, whilst overseeing the effective & profitable running of Calligo’s Service delivery teams: Help desk, Managed Services, and Platform Services.

Key Duties

  • Directs, administers, and coordinates all technical and managed service operations and activities of Calligo in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives established by the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors.
  • Provide effective escalation for clients and vendors as well as providing Internal co-ordination and communications planning during incidents and business as usual periods
  • Ensure that all Hosting and Managed Services meet the service levels agreed with clients and are delivered in compliance with ISO and internal standards
  • Collaborate with the Chief Services Officer in the delivery of projects both internal and client based
  • Produce monthly management information on the status of cloud operations and services
  • Ensure all operational documentation conforms to agreed standards and is stored in the Viaje management system
  • Oversee general administration of the Infrastructure, Data Centre Management, Help Desk and Managed Services team members including, but not limited to holidays & absence
  • Conduct monthly check-in meetings with all direct reports (capturing in the company talent management system) & ensuring all employees receive these within the department & OKR’s are set for each quarter
  • Sit on Calligo Design Board and Change Board
  • Assesses operational risks of the Company and ensures all are monitored and managed
  • Manages operational expenditure/budgets
  • Ensure proactive management of cloud resources through trending, forecasting and capacity planning
  • Supports the development, initiation, maintenance and revision of policies and procedures relating to all Company compliance Standards
  • Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities in relation to compliance disciplines
  • Adhere to all applicable compliance disciplines
  • Ensure staff requirements are met within available budgets


Required Skills and Experience

  • 10 years strategic consultancy and operational management experience
  • Industry recognised technical qualifications
  • 5 years Project Management experience with a proven track record
  • Strong commercial awareness of business processes including continuous improvement methodologies
