The Talent Advisor will work with the Global People Director in supporting & delivering the people strategy globally ensuring talent management, learning and development, recruitment, training and HR best practises support the delivery of Calligo’s organisational objectives.

Key Duties

  • Support the Global People Director with all aspects of the employee lifecycle, ensuring all administration and processes are completed
  • Work with hiring managers to reduce time to hire on all vacancies through proactive recruitment practises (post vacancies across a range of job boards, shortlisting candidates)
  • Enhance recruitment processes, creating a streamlined and consistent process across all business units
  • Deliver the company induction to excite new employees
  • Complete all new hire background checks and ensure completion of mandatory training modules by new starters
  • Compile monthly management information: time to hire, open vacancies, attrition, employee issues as requested by Global Talent Director
  • Support and provide guidance to managers on managing the performance of employees
  • Responsible for the updating, enhancing and delivery of the company induction to new starters
  • Provide training and monitoring of OKR’s, ensuring all employees receive monthly conversations with their managers
  • Provide input into policy development activities to raise awareness of and ensure compliance with HR best practice, taking account of regional legislation
  • Support the delivery of ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Adhere to all applicable compliance framework disciplines

Skills and Experience

  • Have a good knowledge of Canadian employment law (BC and Ontario) and best practise talent practises
  • Ability to communicate and work with all levels of employees across Calligo
  • Excellent administration, planning and execution skills, particularly the ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Good presentation skills

Essential

  • HR certification (CIPD, ASTD, Certificate in HR)
  • 2 – 3 years HR generalist experience working across all aspects of the employee lifecycle in a fast-paced technology company
