The Business Development Representative will help support the sales plan as built by the Chief Commercial Officer, Senior Vice President Sales, and SVP & Managing Director.  Although you are an individual contributor within the business, you will be part of a team with a strong identity, and a reputation for a high standard of work and achievement.

This is a business development role focused on obtaining new business through prospecting, allowing you to build your sales, technical, and communication skills.

Key Duties:

  • Prospect for new client sales opportunities, including an active sales prospecting program utilizing direct marketing, telephone calls, and event participation.
  • Meet 100% of targets.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services, with an ability to explain the functions, features, benefits, and cost.
  • Develop and lead customer relationships at senior and influential level.
  • Meet expectations of the Business Development Representatives Playbook.
  • Adhere to all applicable compliance policies and procedures

Typical Activities Include:

  • Execute the sales strategy to meet the agreed milestones and timescales.
  • Create new business opportunities by contacting targeted lists of potential prospects and inbound leads generated through marketing activities.
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity targets (KPIs).
  • Keep comprehensive sales records and report on activities and results by daily inputs to the company CRM.
  • Develop and prepare general correspondence with a high level of thoroughness and professionalism.
  • Develop and maintain assigned sales funnel targets by stage.
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales forecasts.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, prepared to discuss sales activity targets and results.

Skills and Experience:

  • Business to Business (B2B) Inside Sales or Telemarketing Experience.
  • Strong capability of identifying and reaching out to key decision makers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Basic knowledge of technology.
